Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One out of four children did not have a health statement available for review.”
“Two out of four children had a legal guardian as there emergency contact.”
“There is sufficient evidence to support that corporal punishment is being used.”
“The outdoor activity space has a fence. The fence gate does not have an interior latching mechanism. The fence gate was unlock.”
“The fence gate was locked on the other side and not readily accessible to open. This was corrected at the inspection when the keypad lock was removed.”
“There were 8 children in care. There were 4-3years and 4-4years old in care. The child/caregiver was not met. The child/caregiver ratio was over by 2 children.”
