Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver was attending to 5 infants in her care without another caregiver present. This was completed at inspection when the additional caregiver returned to the room.”
“Children in the classroom were observed watching YouTube during snack time.”
“The director was counted in ratio as a cargiver performing administrative and clerical duties while supervising children in care.”
“A caregiver who was responsible for supervising a group of children participating in a water activity and children participating in outdoor play was unaware of the children?s interest in outdoor play as the caregiver was focused on the children in the water activity, resulting in a child leaving the premises.”
