Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation's emergency preparedness plan was observed to be missing the name and address of an alternate shelter away from the center.”
“The infant room contained a baby walker, which is a prohibited item. The operation corrected this at inspection by removing the item from the infant room.”
“The operation does not have a current sanitation inspection.”
“The electrical out in the hallway near the Apple classroom was uncovered. This was corrected at inspection when the operation covered the outlets.”
“A child was left on the playground during a transition back inside.”
“One of ten child files reviewed did not have the required information.”
“Two students in care with doctor diagnosed food allergies do not have an epi pen available at the operation. Two additional students with food allergies have expired epi pens at the operation.”
“The operation does not have a health inspection within the last 12 months.”
“The activity plan for infants 13-17 months, toddlers, and pre-k age did not show outdoor activity for at least 60 minutes per day.”
“There are four cribs in the infant classroom, 0-11 months, for five enrolled students. This standard was corrected at inspection when a fifth crib was added to the classroom.”
“Two students with diagosed food allergies did not have completed food allergy emergency plans on file.”
