Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At the time of inspection dog fecal matter was present on the floors of the second level of the home. Two dogs were present in the home at the time.”
“Chemical cleaning spray was located on top of the toilet of the restroom labeled for the children to use in care at the time of inspection. The provider did go on to remove the spray and place it in a storage area inaccessible to children.”
“At the time of inspection, one or more mounted smoke detectors were beeping, indicating that the batteries need to replaced as possible.”
“Upon arrival at the home the restroom labeled for daycare children did not have paper towels or handsoap present. The provider did order the items during the inspection and placed both the paper towels and handsoap in the area.”
